Best. Day. Ever.

1. Democrats took back the House of Representatives by a COMMANDING margin, and we'll soon have the nation's third highest office held by a woman for the first time in history.
2. The Senate is shortly going to be retaken by the Democrats as soon as the vote count finishes, we hope.
3. Britney left K-Fed, while his album sold 6,500 copies and debuted at #151.
4. Voters in Arizona rejected a constitutional ban on gay marriage, voters in South Dakota rejected telling women what they can do with their own bodies, and voters in Missouri approved stem-cell research.
5. I didn't get called on in Property, and I'm not hungover despite the copious number of mojitos I consumed while watching CNN last night.
6. The Ville FINALLY rejected evil Congresswoman Anne Northup.

I think this calls for a Happy Dance, y'all!

UPDATE: And now Montana was called for the Dems AND Secretary of Defense Donald "Darth" Rumsfeld has resigned. This is better than sex! It's like being 7 years old, waking up on Christmas morning, and finding all the Star Wars toys, a new bike, and tickets to Disneyworld under the tree!!!

I am so tickled that you are having one of your best days today. I live in Missouri, the land of inbreeding, where there were a lot of signs trying to sway votes to "no for cloning". I agree we don't need anyone here to be cloned but that wasn't what the vote was for. I sure hope that the Dems can turn things around for the better, but they will be butting up against the Repubs. Tricky business. There's that mentality of "what's in it for me" that leads to stalemates. Anyway, happy day for you and all now "let the good times roll"!!!

Arizona may have rejected a ban on gay marriage, but we did re-elect our republican guy back to the Senate. But then John Kyl is way less offensive than Jim Pederson. He's a land developer...the LAST thing Arizona needs. But House District 5 is still up in the air.

The Montana Senate seat went to the Democrats? Took 'em long enough! But they were always an indecisive bunch. Q's entire family is living proof.

It's been a good week in Babylon! I've thoroughly been enjoying pointing and screaming "HAW HAW" at Bush everytime I see him on TV now. I was even an hour late to work yesterday because I just had to stay home and watch his press conference to see him squirm and eat crow! Happy days are here again! Now let's see if my Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi can keep it together...she can be a little much at times. Hopefully she will keep the investigations and partisanship in check...

I LOVE the way you phrased your 'update!' (I found your blog from Angry Black Bitch!) Number 5 above sends chills down my spine though -- I HATED that class in law school and was always terrified I'd get called on to analyze some insane future interests question...
