Goo...Christopher, you look good in the Cher shirt. Good luck with the shower, too. I don't envy you and your predicament. That's one thing I like about my "new" house. It may lack architectural character, but I'm secure in the knowledge it won't be falling apart anytime soon.Ms. Valhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05708956305328177418noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21353255.post-1148438171464833432006-05-23T22:36:00.000-04:002006-05-23T22:36:00.000-04:00If you think that's good, you should see my plumbe...If you think that's good, you should see my plumber's butt! :-DChristopherMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13032361690288998090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21353255.post-1148405404933817302006-05-23T13:30:00.000-04:002006-05-23T13:30:00.000-04:00Wow, Baby! The tiles came crumbling down almost amputating my foot! Lesson in my house: if something is amiss, do not touch it. LOL!!! I like your garb. You are so fashionable. I love your haircut!Ces Adoriohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17338000465619901229noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21353255.post-1148403829820486802006-05-23T13:03:00.000-04:002006-05-23T13:03:00.000-04:00Yowza! Once, in my house, there were actually orange mushrooms or some something growing on the rotted wood that we discovered by all of a sudden falling through a board on the deck. Won't even go into what "mushroomed" from there. I have a love- hate relationship with my house and that can change quickly either way.

This year it was a frozen pipe to a first floor bathroom in the basement near the opening to a covered-over crawlspace. In order to fix the pipe the crawlspace had to be opened and lo and behold we could see daylight coming in. Turns out the foundation had crumbled under the back porch, which explains why we hadn't noticed a huge amount of rocks laying on the outside rather than in the foundation. Could also explain why the toilet seat above was always freezing cold!

JulieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
